Our client needed a secure, easy-to-use patient appointment booking software and clinic management software that could display live queue statuses dynamically on patient devices without requiring them to install an app.

The Solution: Real-time queues

We engineered Clinic Queue, a serverless, mobile-responsive queue management system for clinics. It leverages Next.js, WebSockets for instant status updates, and a lightweight Postgres database.

Patients scan a QR code at the clinic lobby, receive an automated check-in ticket, and can monitor their queue position live on their phones, allowing them to wait outside or in nearby shops.

The Impact: 40% reduction in perceived wait time

Clinic Queue digitized patient traffic, leading to a 40% reduction in lobby wait times. Clinic staff reported a 50% decrease in check-in inquiries, freeing up time for high-value administrative tasks.
